Barbara has been living on the Sunshine Coast with her husband and two daughters since 1999. A psychologist for eleven years, Barbara's aim is to help others during their life journey, assisting them to maximise their personal and professional potential and wellbeing.
Barbara has an eclectic background, having worked in the travel, legal, accounting, mining, construction, human resource management consulting, medical research, education and public service sectors. Barbara’s current activities include contracts with the University of the Sunshine Coast and the Sunshine Coast Institute of TAFE and workshop and seminar facilitation for The Cancer Council Queensland. She is currently enrolled as a PhD candidate at the University of the Sunshine Coast, researching the area of Work-Life Balance. Barbara is registered with the Psychologists Board of Queensland.
Barbara is a firm beliver in holistic wellbeing and takes a positive, integrated approach to supporting strong emotional and physical health. Barbara supports Clients to use their strengths, as they progress towards their goals. Her approach is solution-focused and practical, including a blend of psycho-education, skills training and cognitive-behaviour therapy.

Interventions with Barbara run for six to twelve sessions, from weekly to monthly appointments. For those who are students or carry a Health Care Card, a discount applies. Significant Medicare rebates may be available if referred by a treating General Practitioner, Paediatrician or Psychiatrist, under an appropriate Plan. Private health cover may provide refunds for psychological services and Clients are encouraged to enquire at their respective fund.
