Kerry has worked in medical and psychiatric services in hospitals, community and school settings supporting young people, adults and their families for the past 20 years.

Whilst Kerry’s background is as a clinical nurse, she has expanded her skills and scope of practice by completing a Master’s of Counselling, Advanced Family Therapy, by recently obtaining her credentials as a Mental Health Nurse, and by her ongoing work within Mental Health. Through her practice, Kerry has been able to maintain strong links with community agencies in the process to support her clients.    Kerry has a strong belief in the bio-psychosocial model and integrates this with the collaborative therapies, (particularly solution-focused and narrative therapy). Kerry enjoys working with a diverse group of people ranging in ages.

Kerry’s mental health qualifications enable her to make mental health assessments and work in collaboration with the clients and their GP to ensure best outcomes.
