Lyn Baird is a registered Counsellor and a loving Wife, Mother of 4, Grandmother, and a Career woman. She has worked in community development, education and health for 30 years .
Before commencing her own business, she worked as a Registered Nurse and is able to understand and empathise with those going through a healing journey of grief & loss. She also understands the trials and joy of owning your own company and how to navigate through work and life balance.
Being happily married for over 30 years, Lyn also specialises in relationship counselling to help people learn how to overcome past hurts and learn how to have a happy and fulfilled Marriage. With compassion and wisdom she will help you discover new tools and ways of looking at the issues in your life, so you can take hold of your mindsets and embrace the life you are dreaming of.
As a twin herself, Lyn has the unique perspective of personal experience of the importance of the twin relationship, and is able to utilize this in her practice for both individual and relationship counselling.
Lyn has a Masters in Counselling, Graduate Diploma in Business, is a Registered Counselling Supervisor and teaches in this field.
Family Therapist, Child & Adolescence
Andrew is an Authorized Mental Health Practitioner, an Accredited Clinical Therapist and a Trained Supervisor who has practiced in a multitude of clinical settings He possesses a career that spans 30 years, the last 12 working with children and their families.
Andrew specializes in the delivery of psychological and psychiatric interventions and utilizes multiple therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural, Dialectical, Narrative, Attachment (circle of security), Mindfulness and Solution Focussed frameworks to name but a few.
As a father of seven children including three adolescents he believes he is in a solid position to talk about the challenges of raising children and teenagers in this generation.
Mary Ann Killian
Mary Ann Killian has been a registered counsellor with ACA for over 10 years. She enjoys working with women and children, with a special interest in helping those undergoing divorce, as she has experienced this herself. Mary Ann knows the pitfalls that those going through divorce and separation can face, and embraces the personal growth that can come from the process.
Mary Ann loves working with children, as she is the mum of 3 adult children, has previously worked as a Chaplin, and has also worked on several teen support programs. She has also worked in the community, teaching parenting and life skills to young mothers.
Coming from a background of owning her own business for 27 years, Mary Ann has also worked in community in various roles helping people. Currently Mary Ann is utilising her vast experience within the community to teach others, as a trainer of the Diploma of Counselling and Diploma of Child, Youth and Family Intervention with a local training organisation.
Mary Ann also enjoys working with Christian clients and clients who are seeking spiritual awareness and healing. She has recently expanded her qualifications and practice into relationship counselling also.

Shannon Dodd is a life coach and counsellor who has 25 years of experience in “peoples industry”, working with people from all walks of life, varying age groups and cultural backgrounds, internationally and locally. Her purpose is to see individuals make successful transitions whilst her aim is to equip them with the motivation and life strategies they need to reach their unique potential.
Her passionate interest, in life skills education, has led to her involvement with the development and facilitation of numerous highly effective personal development programs. These programs are made available to those who do not have access to support networks, equipping them to move ahead in life and find their way through the myriad of choices that they face.
Shannon works with individuals experiencing a wide range of conditions including depression, addictions, anxiety and grief; providing understanding and motivation for change. She works with clients promoting mind and body awareness, self-reflection, personal insight, self-compassion and authenticity. She also works with individuals and couples helping them to resolve relationship issues and form a deeper connection.
Shannon’s approach is holistic and individualistic ensuring the therapeutic plan best suits you. She explains complexities in a simple way and works with you to develop personal practical tools to use to continue living in your new found freedom.
Sean is a father of three who lives in the hinterland of the Sunshine Coast. Over the years he has run his own businesses and been a full time father. Whilst raising his children as a single father and dealing with the challenges that all of this entails, Sean decided to travel the journey of studying to enhance his knowledge of what makes us who we are and how best to interact with each other. Sean’s goal was to learn how to achieve the best outcomes in a respectful way for all involved.
