Lyn Baird is a registered Counsellor and a loving Wife, Mother of 4, Grandmother, and a Career woman. She has worked in community development, education and health for 30 years .
Before commencing her own business, she worked as a Registered Nurse and is able to understand and empathise with those going through a healing journey of grief & loss. She also understands the trials and joy of owning your own company and how to navigate through work and life balance.
Being happily married for over 30 years, Lyn also specialises in relationship counselling to help people learn how to overcome past hurts and learn how to have a happy and fulfilled Marriage. With compassion and wisdom she will help you discover new tools and ways of looking at the issues in your life, so you can take hold of your mindsets and embrace the life you are dreaming of.
As a twin herself, Lyn has the unique perspective of personal experience of the importance of the twin relationship, and is able to utilize this in her practice for both individual and relationship counselling.
Lyn has a Masters in Counselling, Graduate Diploma in Business, is a Registered Counselling Supervisor and teaches in this field.

Andrew is an Authorized Mental Health Practitioner, an Accredited Clinical Therapist and a Trained Supervisor who has practiced in a multitude of clinical settings He possesses a career that spans 30 years, the last 12 working with children and their families.
Andrew specializes in the delivery of psychological and psychiatric interventions and utilizes multiple therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural, Dialectical, Narrative, Attachment (circle of security), Mindfulness and Solution Focussed frameworks to name but a few.
As a father of seven children including three adolescents he believes he is in a solid position to talk about the challenges of raising children and teenagers in this generation.
Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and Clinical Supervisor
Jayne is the founder of Get-A-Grip Youth & Community Services, and brings over 25 years of experience in the social services industry to her role here at Life Bridge.
Jayne has a specialises in working with clients who need assistance with addiction counselling, relapse prevention, social isolation, transitioning into remote communities, culture shock, depression, anxiety, workplace stress, anger management, separation/divorce, children coping with parental separation, pre-sentence counselling, autism and ADHD. Jayne works well with teenagers through to adults.
Jayne has worked in a range of communities in both Australia and New Zealand. During this time, she gained experience in Government settings such as Justice, Mental Health and Child Protection, receiving accreditation in 2005 as a Mental Health Social Worker. Jayne has also enjoyed working in non-Government settings providing counselling, youth work, family support, mediation, mentoring programs, teaching and supervision (contractors, students, volunteers). Jayne also spent over 4 years working in remote communities throughout Australia.
Jayne is also a clinical supervisor, using her wealth of experience in the industry to assist other workers, especially those who are working or moving to remote and rural regions of Australia.
She has a special interest in utilising the benefits of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy (REBT), Jayne enjoys seeing her clients succeed with their counselling goals.

Christine has worked in the social services field for more than twenty years with experience in a range of areas. She specialises in working with clients who need assistance with depression and anxiety, relationship counselling, addiction counselling, relapse prevention, crisis intervention, grief and loss, social isolation, workplace stress, anger management, separation/divorce, children coping with parental separation and child protection issues. Christine works well with children from the age of eight through to teenagers, adults and older people.
Christine has worked extensively in Cairns, Far North Queensland and the Sunshine Coast. During this time, she gained experience in Government settings such as Queensland Health, and Child Protection. She received accreditation as a Mental Health Social Worker in 2007. Christine has worked in non-Government settings providing counselling as well as teaching at the University of the Sunshine Coast and supervising students on placements.
Christine is a clinical supervisor, using her wealth of experience in the industry to assist professional social workers and counsellors.
Christine works in partnership with her clients, supporting them in identifying ways to successfully achieve their counselling goals utilising strengths based, solution focused methods and expressive therapies.
