After 20yrs of community development, education and health experience, Owner and Director Lyn Baird (M.SocSc, R.N., Dip CCFT, Cert IV Wk, Pl, Tr & Ass. ACA Clinical) saw a need to help those who were hurting in the community. In 2003 Life Bridge started with one room and one school program (HIP).

Since then, Life Bridge has doubled its number of full time students doing Life Bridge courses, increased its client caseload, and successfully developed and initiated community programs such as EMMA (Mentoring & Educating pregnant adolescent girls), HIP (Hope, Identity & Purpose) and SWAT ( Self-worth and Assertiveness Training). We have both female and male counselors along with experienced and trained support staff.

Our venue enables us to offer a variety of Certificate and Diploma courses, Professional Development, Family and Children Therapy, Counseling, Resources and Gifts, Supervision and Mentoring, as well as assist others in the community by providing rooms to hire suitable for training, consultancy and counseling at reasonable cost.

Life Bridge is committed to making a difference in the lives of those in our community. We believe part of making this difference is to be a bridge between the community and the church. We have a firm belief in offering a preventative approach and a variety of support services while working in partnership with both christian and community organizations as well as both state and federal government departments and services..
