Life Bridge Training

Our training contains the latest information and techniques in both welfare and counselling, taught by those currently working in these fields. Our training is based on discussion groups and has a high component of experiential learning, making it ideal for those who are practical learners and those wanting to integrate what they have learned into their current workplace or ministry.

What some of our students have said:

"I have found this course to be everything I hoped for and I got much more - the quality of the course, exceptional teaching, up-to-date information, local community knowledge and fantastic class mates. Lyn Baird has an amazing gift in being able to impart her knowledge in a very practical and real way.” Sonya F.

"I found it very insightful for my personal growth as well as professionally. The fundamentals are useful and the concepts were clearly taught. Lyn Baird is excellent at guiding and challenging you in a very holistic approach.” Mimi G.

"By the end of the course and after doing the field hours required, I was offered a full time position with the company I had been volunteering for. Lyn Baird, our lecturer, is attentive, helpful and knowledgeable in the field and I was able to glean from her about counseling and welfare work. I have a sense of accomplishment and reward from completing the course.” Julie R
